About me:

I come from a family full of K-12 classroom teachers. I knew that I would join the educator world too, but I also knew I wanted to do it my own way. When I graduated from Luther College, I first taught gymnastics to preschoolers and elementary aged kids at The Little Gym. It was there I realized how fascinating I find a child’s mind to be.

From there I dove into the study of psychology and behavior at Minnesota State University, Mankato. I completed my masters in K-12 school counseling and began my journey as a high school counselor for seven years! I truly enjoyed working with students in learning about who they are and who they wanted to be.

Now that I’m a PSEO Advisor for Normandale, I hope to help you figure out your own path. I believe there are many factors that will influence your personal, academic, and career successes. I’m excited to get to know you and how I can help you get where you want to go!
