About me:

I’m an introvert by nature but I do like to socialize with people. I love personality tests (like the MBTI or enneagram) because I think it’s fun to learn about myself. In my down time, I have a variety of hobbies to keep me interested. I like brain teasers activities like Sudoku (LEGOS is my favorite) to researching random historical events/figures to baking. Something about me that surprises people is that I don’t really like to watch TV!

I graduated from University of Northwestern – St. Paul, MN (was Northwestern College back in 2000s) with a degree in Ministry. After 5 years of working in public schools, I decided to take a break and joined a non-profit organization called YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and lived in Baja California, Ensenada, for 6 months. I fell in love with fish tacos, al pastor tacos and horchata! I consider that as my to-go meal in a lot of Mexican restaurants. I traveled to Mexico City and Costa Rica for a total of 9 weeks during my time in Ensenada. I came back and started my first job, TRIO ETS, at Century College. I was a TRIO ETS Advisor for five years and before transitioning to Normandale as a PSEO Advisor.
