I am thrilled to join the Normandale Community College in 2021. My background includes 10 years in public transit and 6 years in public safety roles. I am a veteran who retired from the Minnesota Army National Guard in 2020. I deployed overseas to Kuwait and Jordan in 2018 and 2019. I am a lifelong learner who earned my first college degree right here at Normandale where I graduated with an A.A. degree in 2007, followed by a B.S. from the University of Minnesota (Crookston) in 2014, and a M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati in 2017. I have taught thirty semester hours of Criminal Justice courses which have included teaching an online Criminology course for Bay Mills Community College in Michigan and teaching introductory criminal justice courses for Central Texas College at the Education Center on base while deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. I am currently continuing my own education at the University of Minnesota where I hope to complete a M.A. in Educational Psychology in May, 2021. I am happy to be back at Normandale and look forward to supporting you on your educational journey.
