I have over a decade of experience as an educator, working with students of all ages holistically to support them in achieving their goals. I value the knowledge and lived experience that each student brings to their education and I work to create spaces in which students can show up authentically as their whole selves. 

I have a B.A. in Education and Spanish; a M.A. in Leadership in Student Affairs; and previous work experience teaching English in Spain, supporting and advocating for immigrant and refugee students as an intercultural specialist in K-12 public schools, and most recently in Student Activities and Leadership Development at Hamline University. 

In my free time I enjoy hiking with my dogs Potter and Granger, playing and watching volleyball, cooking, reading (especially LGBTQ+ fiction!), and traveling.
