About me:
My career path spans several career fields. I started my career as an Elementary School Teacher, followed by 20 years as a Human Resources Manager at several major corporations, and now have spent almost 20 years as an academic advisor, with the last 10 years at Normandale. I have a BA degree in Psychology from Western Washington State University, a MA in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado, and a MA in Industrial Relations (Human Resources) from the University of Minnesota. Recently, I became a certified Global Career Development Facilitator. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, playing tennis, hiking, biking, and reading good books.
