I had the wonderful opportunity to join the Normandale community in January 2021. I started working in higher education shortly after graduating high school; the last 8-years before Normandale Community College as an Academic Advisor mainly serving students in health science majors at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids, MN. I enjoy building relationships with my students and witnessing them overcome challenges and achieve their academic and personal goals! I have a BA in Sociology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, an MBA with a Human Resources emphasis from Globe University, and an MS in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring Minnesota.
