I am a Normandale graduate and am thrilled to have come full circle to provide mental health, academic and career counseling to Normandale students! My passion is in working with college students because I know how difficult this time in life can be and I really enjoy the process of connecting with students, helping them explore their needs and creating a plan so they can reach their goals.

Prior to coming to Normandale, I worked with young adults who were experiencing educational and mental health challenges and/or homelessness in a variety of settings such as non-profits, high schools and an in-patient treatment center in Minnesota, Arizona and California.

When I am not working, I enjoy learning by taking classes, traveling, reading books and talking to people in the pursuit of expanding my mind and connecting with others. I find relaxation by getting into the woods, lounging with my cats, writing/journaling, crafting and kayaking.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed School Counselor (LSC) and Licensed Teacher.
