Financial Aid and Student Services are having virtual sessions to help students complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Minnesota Dream Act Application for the 2020-2021 and/or the 2021-2022 academic year. Please sign up for one of the available sessions below!
Which financial aid application should I be working on?
For Spring 2021, Summer 2021, work on your 2020-2021 FAFSA/Minnesota Dream Act Application.
For Fall 2021, Spring 2022, Summer 2022, work on your 2021-2022 FAFSA/Minnesota Dream Act Application.
Information you need to complete the FAFSA or MN Dream Act Application:
- Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID & password to log in and complete the FAFSA.
- If your FAFSA requires a parent/guardian signature, your parent/guardian will also need to apply for a separate FSA ID & password.
- 1040 IRS tax forms for you and your parent(s).
- 2020-2021 aid applications require 2018 taxes.
- 2021-2022 aid applications require 2019 taxes.
- If you or your parent(s) didn’t file taxes, W2s from all jobs worked.
- 2020-2021 aid applications require 2018 W2s.
- 2021-2022 aid applications require 2019 W2s.
- In general, students who are under 24 years of age must include parent information. Please have their social security number (if applicable) and date of birth.
